Located at a comfortable distance from the primary home, this two-bedroom guest house embraces a brighter palette and slightly simplified detailing, creating an airy, casual-luxury environment that complements the estate’s signature camp-chic character.
The challenge was to create a fully independent guest retreat that felt cohesive with the main estate, yet distinct enough to offer guests a sense of separation and personal sanctuary.
The space needed to deliver comfort, warmth, and functionality within a compact footprint—while ensuring unobstructed views and effortless access to the pool terrace, without disrupting the serenity of the primary residence.
The guest house was designed with a light, uplifting atmosphere that balances rustic charm with refined comfort. The open living area features a cheerful kitchen, a live-edge wood dining table with benches, and a welcoming seating zone, allowing the house to function completely independently. Soft white walls and draperies warm the space, while furnishings in neutral tones—enhanced with accents of cashmere and natural fur—add an inviting, tactile luxury.
The two twin bedrooms continue the relaxed theme with colorful striped bedding, luxe leather headboards, and en suite bathrooms featuring vibrant floor tiles in contrasting hues. French doors and expansive windows frame dramatic views of the Napa landscape and provide direct access to the pool terrace.
