The Baccarat Hotel in Atlanta’s Buckhead district blends timeless French elegance with Southern charm, offering an ultra-luxury experience with dramatic interiors, world-class amenities, and private residences serviced by the hotel.
Nestled in Atlanta’s vibrant Buckhead district, the Baccarat Hotel redefines luxury living with its five-star accommodations, private residences, and an array of exceptional amenities. Operated by Starwood Capital, the tower features elegant guest rooms and suites, a full-service spa, a grand ballroom, and a signature restaurant and bar.
Rooftop offerings include a pool, cabanas, a poolside bar, and a casual dining space, while thirty-eight private residential units enjoy seamless access to hotel services. Inspired by Baccarat’s rich heritage, the design marries traditional French sophistication with Southern warmth, creating an atmosphere that is both glamorous and inviting.
The design challenge was to capture Baccarat’s storied legacy while introducing a fresh, modern aesthetic that resonates with Atlanta’s unique character. The space needed to embody opulence and drama while balancing functionality for both hotel guests and residents.
Achieving this required integrating bold, theatrical design elements without overwhelming comfort and usability, as well as uniting diverse amenities under a cohesive luxury brand identity.
Groves & Co. approached the project by blending French elegance with Southern influences, using rich, solid materials alongside dazzling crystal accents. Dramatic elements, such as a fiber-optic illuminated chandelier and a double-height lobby with a sweeping staircase, evoke grandeur while maintaining intimacy. Ethereal lighting, reflective surfaces, and bold color contrasts create a moody, sophisticated atmosphere. From guest rooms with smoky two-way mirror partitions to private residences seamlessly connected to hotel services, every detail was designed to deliver a uniquely immersive and unforgettable luxury experience.
